A major client of Swift is currently seeking an FPSO Planning Engineer to plan, monitor and report for all aspects of the hook-up and commissioning of the FPSO on site. Based in Offshore Nigeria, on a rotation of 4×4!

Main responsibilties include:
• Collect information from all sources offshore, including site inspection, to determine the status and progress of the offshore activities
• Issue daily and weekly progress reports
• Follow the critical path for First Condensate and work with the contractors and departments to constantly reschedule offshore activities to minimise the delay in achieving First Condensate
• Monitor the interaction between the different contractors offshore. Identify any impact of one contractor on another and monitor the handover points to ensure that they are efficiently managed Candidates wishing to apply for this role must have: Ability to use version 3 of Primavera at expert level
• Familiarity with the use of job cards Candidates must also have a Minimum of 5 years planning experience on large projects and a broad understanding of a petrochem site during a construction phase. Must be familiar with concepts such as: Commissioning, Start Up, Permit to Work, Simultaneous Operations Safe Areas, Safety Zones, Construction Risks and Contractual conflicts and divergent objectives.
