Opportunities currently exist for the following positions:

Senior Manager Sales: -Northern Region:

Department: Sales & Distribution

Reporting To: GM Consumer Sales

Qualification(s)

• A first degree in Economics, Business Admin, Commerce or any Social Science degree
• An MBA will be an added advantage

Experience & Training:

• At least 10 years sales experience in an FMCG environment, services industry/logistics environment
• Five (5) years managerial experience
• Telecoms experience would be an added advantage

Job Summary:

• Management of Regional activities
• Responsible for Regional Sales Operation
• Ensure the achievement of sales target in the sub regions in the North
• Ensure effective execution of related department strategies in the region (Sales & Marketing)
• Regional market development and penetration.
• Market development towards effective retail market penetration.
• Electronic distribution / penetration as a means of driving volume
• Ensure sales force development and productivity through excellent sales management.
• Ensure territory coverage in terms of sales circle and 95% stock availability and management RRP.
• Coordinate the activities of all functional units and teams in the region and ensure information and resource sharing to achieve desired regional objectives.
• Establish and manage business relationships with key corporate clients in the region to ensure growth
• Ensure effective partnership with MTN trade partners and other sales channels towards achievement of sales target
• Liaise with Regional Stock/Inventory Team for optimal stock availability.
• Ensure policies, procedures and practices are in place
• Manage allocations (actual vs. forcast by channel)
• Re-forecast quarterly with monthly reviews across all channels
• Oversee regional dealership and sales management and ensure overall regional sales targets are met
• Establish and manage business relationships with key corporate client in the region to ensure growth.
