Our client is an international company in the upstream oil and gas sector, with interest in both exploration blocks and field development units, in Nigeria.

To meet the growing requirements for its expanding activities in Nigeria, the company is looking for young and dynamic professionals to fill the following positions:

Security Coordinators: ES00417
The success candidate will have overall responsibility for the service delivery of all security teams and ensure compliance with the company’s security policy and procedures. They will also coordinate all security logistics, manage the deployment of security personnel including the Nigeria Police detachment and other national security agents.

Other responsibilities

  • Ensure and monitor security contractor performance vis-à-vis key performance indicators
  • Collect and disseminate useful security information
  • Maintain liaison between the company and the national security agents
  • Enforce access control measures as stipulated in the company’s security policy
  • Manage crises, gather intelligence and carry out investigations on security related issues

Qualifications, experience and attributes

  • A good university degree preferably in law. Officers who retired from the Police Force, State Security Services (SSS) or the military as captain or an equivalent level are encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum of five (5) years working experience in a similar function at management level.
  • An appreciation of security support requirements in the oil and gas industry
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the local business environment
  • Must enjoy a good relationship with law enforcement agencies and other stake holders
  • Good data management and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills


Personal assistant: ES00418

The successful candidate will manage and coordinate the Managing Director’s day to day activities, as well as manage the MD’s office.

Other responsibilities

  • Manage the MD’s diary, appointments, vacations and general travel.
  • Organize meeting logistics
  • Prepare data database for business contacts
  • Manage all correspondence to and from the MD’s office
  • Handle telephone calls

Qualifications, experience and attributes

A good university degree (minimum of 2nd class division) in any of the social sciences.

Minimum of six (6) years working experience in a similar function, preferably in the oil and gas industry.

Good interpersonal, organizational and team working skills.

Ability to multi-tasks

Multi-lingual capabilities will be advantage.
