Owing to the continuing need for market expansion, employment opportunities exists in our Health & Beauty SBU in the following roles:

General Manager (Commercial)  HPZ – Lagos
The Role: General Manager – Commercial

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Manage the HPZ SBU’s operations in Kenya and Ghana.
  • Prepare vital reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing market trends information for appropriate action.
  • Assist in identifying current and future customer requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in order to understand their requirements.
  • Establish marketing/sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual market/sales quotas and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing new product

The Person:

The right candidate must:

  • Possess a B.A or B.Sc (Mechanical or Elect/ Elect Engineering) with a professional certification and/or MBA.
  • Have between 15-18 years working experience.
  • Have good knowledge of white and brown goods market business in the country of abode.

  • Have good computer skills.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and organizational planning skills.
  • Be proficient in market intelligence and computer usage.

THE ROLE:   Project Manager

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Coordinate various activities to deliver the company’s projects within commercial and technical specifications.
  • Develop Project Definition Document (PDD) with clear objectives and financial deliverables.
  • Develop, publish and track progress against project tasks and milestones.
  • Act as the primary control point for managing the projects.
  • Identify risk issues related to company’s projects and recommended actions to mitigate the risks. 

THE PERSON:

The right candidate must:

  • Possess a good university degree in social sciences, sciences or any commercial oriented discipline with a minimum of second class upper.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years experience in Project Management in the Manufacturing or Service oriented industry.
  • Be a good team player
  • Have the ability to work under pressure
  • Posses strong project management, estimation and documentation skills.
  • Have excellent computer software application skills.
  • Have excellent analytical, interpersonal and organizational planning skills.

THE ROLE:   Retail Shop Manager

The successful  candidate will be required to:

  • Maintain a high standard  customer service
  • Ensure the business plans of the unit are met
  • Oversee the regular update of the consumer database
  • Ensure financial management of all shop operations e.g. cash flow, stock flow etc.

THE PERSON:

The right candidate must:

  • Possess a university degree or equivalent in Business, Management or Sciences oriented disciplines.
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years working experience in retail shop management
  • Have excellent computer software application skills
  • Be a good team player.

THE ROLE:   HAIR STYLIST

The successful candidates will be required to:

  • Conduct hair care seminars to a large audience, using our hair care products.
  • This would include detailed demonstration of the key stages of hair care; relaxing; conditioning and styling.
  • Develop and maintain a very good relationship with the regional branches of Nigerian Association of Hairdressers, cosmetologists and Barbers. (NASHON)

THE PERSON:

The right candidate must:

  • Possess a good Ordinary Level School Certificate.
  • An ordinary National Diploma will be an added advantage.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years experience to work under pressure
  • Be a good team player.
  • Be willing to engage in extensive travel
  • Membership of NASHCO will be an added advantage
